Operational Excellence Manager
The Operational Excellence Manager is responsible for defining and maintaining how Verne operates on a day‑to‑day basis. The role owns the company’s operating playbook, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flows, and operational policy documents.
The Operational Excellence Manager ensures that all operational documentation is structured, controlled, and kept up to date in a central repository. They are accountable for making sure teams understand and follow documented processes, and for maintaining consistency as the organisation scales.
The role also owns the internal audit process for operations. This includes regularly checking that teams are operating in line with agreed standards, identifying gaps or non‑adherence, and working with function owners to implement corrective actions.
This is a hands‑on management role focused on discipline, clarity, and execution. It requires prior practical experience owning operational documentation, process governance, and audit activities in a live operational environment.
