We are looking for our new Accountant who would closely cooperate and help the existing team in accounting, but also other employees so that all accounting documentation is received, processed, and paid on time in accordance with accounting policies and legal framework.

What will you do?

• Liquidating of incoming invoices.
  
• Booking of incoming and outgoing invoices, bank statements, fixed assets, processing payments.
  
• Posting and processing manual journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
  
• Monitoring and corrections on automatic recording transactions.
  
• Perform reconciliations – accounts payable, accounts receivable, banks.
  
• Maintenance of fixed asset register.
  
• Perform activities related with monthly/yearly closing.
  
• Maintenance of General ledger and maintenance of closing procedure and accounting policies.
  
• Calculation and submission of tax calculations and claims; timely preparation of statistical reports.
  
• Follow up of current legislation in the area of finance, accounting, accounting standards, statutory reporting, corporate taxes.
  
• Maintenance of master data in accounting scope of responsibilities.
  
• Independence in accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
  
• Effective monitoring of all accounting processes.
  
• Oversee general accounting operations and verifying financial transactions.
  
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (HSFI, ) and tax regulations.
  
• Submission of legal reports within the prescribed period.
  
• And Other tasks and duties as assigned by line manager.

What do you need to succeed?

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Education in Accounting, Finance or related field (preferably Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Economics and Finance) or other fields with equivalent experience.
  
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
  
• Local taxation knowledge.
  
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  
• Strong analytical, organizational, and mathematical skills.
  
• Accurate, result-driven, and analytical minded.
  
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  
• Fluent in English.
