Recruiter (Contract)
We are looking for a skilled Recruiter to join us on a one year contract. This role will drive our talent acquisition efforts and ensure we attract, source, and hire top talent to meet our company’s needs. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand the unique requirements for each position and deliver on competitive hiring goals and expectations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in full-cycle recruiting, paired with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
Beyond recruitment, you will take ownership of impactful HR initiatives, including employer branding, enhancing the candidate experience, and improving recruitment processes to support our long-term success.

What will you do?
This is an office-based role and is an integral part of the HR team. Reporting directly to the HR Director, it requires close collaboration with hiring managers across various departments. As a Recruiter in Verne, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding top talent across various roles.
- Collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements, define role expectations, and align on recruitment strategies.
- Proactively sourcing candidates through diverse channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
- Ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process by maintaining clear communication and providing timely updates.
- Developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates in a competitive market.
- Driving employer branding initiatives to enhance the company’s reputation as a top employer in the industry.
- Regularly analysing recruitment metrics and providing insights to optimize hiring processes and improve outcomes.
- Partnering with the HR team on strategic projects, such as workforce planning, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and recruitment process improvements.
- Staying informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in talent acquisition.
- Managing offer preparation, extension, and negotiation, ensuring alignment with both candidate expectations and company policies.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to the business, offering market insights and guidance on talent availability and hiring strategies.
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Demonstrated expertise in identifying and engaging industry experts using creative and innovative sourcing strategies.
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to align recruitment strategies with organizational goals.
- Skilled in evaluating candidate profiles and interview feedback to accurately assess skills and suitability.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates, fostering trust and collaboration.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to navigate sensitive situations and maintain positive working relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges and develop effective recruitment solutions.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to streamline recruitment processes.
- Extensive experience in sourcing candidates through diverse platforms and channels.
- Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities to ensure quality hires and uphold company standards.
