IT Project Manager
We're seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of driving successful software implementations, including ERP systems, IT infrastructure projects, and other key business initiatives. To succeed, you'll need strong project management skills, a solid understanding of technology, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

What will you do?
As an IT Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of key projects, working closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and internal teams. Reporting to the Head of IT, your responsibilities will include:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, budget, and timelines.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and success criteria.
- Coordinate and oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to project milestones and deadlines.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, comprising software developers, system administrators, business analysts, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging effective communication and knowledge-sharing among team members.
- Delegate tasks appropriately, ensuring team members are aligned with project objectives and responsibilities.
Resource Management:
- Manage project resources efficiently, including budget allocation, equipment, and external vendors/consultants as needed.
- Optimize resource utilization and identify areas for improvement to enhance project efficiency.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring effective and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Regularly provide project status updates, milestones, and progress reports to executive management and other relevant parties.
Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
- Identify potential project risks and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Change Management:
- Effectively manage changes in project scope, objectives, or requirements while assessing their potential impact on project timelines and resources.
- Facilitate communication and acceptance of changes among project stakeholders.
Post-Implementation Support:
- Oversee the post-implementation phase, ensuring a smooth transition and providing support as necessary to address any post-deployment issues.
What do you need to succeed?
- Proven experience delivering complex software, ERP, and IT infrastructure projects.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk mitigation.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, IT infrastructure, and ERP systems.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile are a plus but not mandatory.
